Join us for Surrealist games with artist duo Cupboard Under the Stairs, plus an immersive, dream-like performance of Geoff Cox’s book Anna and the Witch’s Bottle, by multimedia arts collective blackmaps, featuring cult musician and actor Richard Strange.

Plus a rare screening of Joseph Cornell ’s film The Midnight’s Party (c.1940), and Italian artist Jacopo Miliani ’s uncannyyet strangely humorous film Down, Down, Down (2006)

Our friends at Arctic Circle have a pretty special four day winter festival taking place  a few weeks from now, so more impeccable programming from the promoters responsible for the astonishing Efterklang  Barbican show  and Notwist at the Union Chapel. They also have Vashti Bunyan and Johan Johanson shows booked for the Spring. Here are the details for The Bubbly Blue and Green;

“The Bubbly Blue and Green – a four-day festival of eclectic ‘water music’ influenced by shipwrecks, rivers, waves and lighthouses.”

Housed in the halls of Kings Place, the festival runs from the 24th to 27th February 2010and features Philip Jeck, Janek Schaefer, Hauschka, Hildur Gudnadottir, ISAN,Samphire Band, The Sleeping Years, Iarla O’Lionaird, The London Snorkelling Team,Paper Cinema and The Willkommen Orchestra.

Tickets are on sale from November 14th with very limited SAVER SEATS available online at £9.50 for all concerts. Prices (unless stated otherwise): £24.50, £19.50, £15.50 Premium seats available.
